As part of our awareness campaign and partnership to the surrounding community of Aseese in conjuction with Rainbow College, Lagos, we had a successful meeting and discussion of the upcoming events on the 9th of July.
We wish to thank everyone who made out time to participate in our just concluded Drug Discuss in Kaduna State.
The event was attended by over 70 attendees who actively contributed to the discussion on how to address the menace of drugs in Nigeria.

Reconnect HDI, being a consultant organization to the Northern Governors Wives' Forum (NGWF) organized and facilitated a comprehensive 3-days DRUG ADVOCACY AND SENSITIZATION training for the members of the NGWF and representatives from the governments of all the 19 Northern States in Nigeria.
The HEAL project was first piloted in Durunmi IDP camp Abuja, during which 4 teachers were trained to facilitate and provide psychological first aid to the IDP children.
Reconnect HDI held an inauguration program in Hampstead Secondary School, Abuja. APLY peer educators and lead teachers were inaugurated and empowered to facilitate and sustain the program in the school.
RECONNECT HDI visit to Bakassi IDP camp in Borno state to set up psychosocial intervention services for the IDPs who have suffered various traumatic experiences.
We visited Suleja and Tafa environs of Niger State to provide basic needs, sensitize and educate the grassroots, as well as to provide free treatment to affected individuals.
RECONNECT HDI fundraising event which took place in Birmingham, United Kingdom with the aim of raising funds for the implementation of mental health projects, and the expansion of our target reach.
